Hi guys,
Before going to university I always thought in have a job that let me help other people, a lot of jobs allow make that like a nurse. I chose public administration to help people because I think that I have the skills and I am interested in public service. I also like to learn about many things, so the interdisciplinarity of public administration caught my attention.
When I started at the university I imagined working in a job in some ministry, especially in the ministry of education or some centralized state body. But with the passage of time, I consider that there many things to do at the subnational level, especially in local government because the municipality is the public service closest to the people, and municipalities give a lot of services to the community.
I like outdoor jobs, even though if an indoor job keeps me busy during the workday I would tolerate it because I don't like to have nothing to do at a job. I would like to travel in my future job, so I could work in some remote municipality for some time or some decentralized state body. About the salary, I would like a salary that allows me to have my own things and live in peace.
At present, I'm studying for a Bachelor's degree but I don't rule out the possibility of studying something else or doing a postgraduate degree in the future.
